2017 KAGRO of Washington Scholarship

Korean American Grocer’s Association (KAGRO) is offering $1,000 to ten students who reside in State of Washington and planning to attend an accredited post secondary institution in Washington State.

The applicant should demonstrate:

• Financial needs.

• Good citizenship role such as, leadership in school, community services and other extracurricular activities.

• Academic excellence with a 25 GPA or higher. (Freshmen will attach high school transcript)

The applicant should furnish:

• A 200-word essay must be included with the application.

  Topic: “What are you doing to achieve your dream?”

• Completed application form with a photo (4x6)

• An official transcript and essay to the address below

• Student ID Card (Copy both front & back)

• 2016 Parent Income tax document

The scholarship:

• Will be awarded at KAGRO of Gala that will be held at Hiton Hotel in Sea-Tac on Sat, November 18, 2017
