2012 KAGRO of Washington Scholarship
Korean American Grocer’s Association (KAGRO) is offering $1,000 to seven students who reside in State of Washington and planning to attend an accredited post secondary institution in Washington State.
The applicant should demonstrate:
¨ Financial needs.
¨ Good citizenship role such as, leadership in school, community services and other extracurricular activities.
¨ Academic excellence with a 3.25 GPA or higher. (Freshmen will attach high school transcript)
The applicant should furnish:
¨ A 500-word essay must be included with the application.
Topic: “ Why are you a good candidate to receive this award?”
¨ Completed application form with a photo (4x6)
¨ An official transcript and essay to the address below
¨ Student ID Card (Copy both front & back)
¨ 2011 Parent Income tax document

The scholarship:
¨ Will be paid at KAGRO of Washington’s convention that will be held at Double Tree Hotel in Sea-Tac on Nov. 29, 2012
